| About Rhythm Circus |
|
In mid 2004, rhythm guitarist and songwriter Steve R joined a band with Steve D (lead guitar) and Kris M (rhythm guitar at the time) in a rock/alternative band. This band was fairly short-lived; however Steve D and Kris M kept their ties with Steve R, and later formed another band in mid 2006. At the time of this creation Steve R and Steve D already had several songs written, however these songs were all written without drums or bass guitar. Steve D invited Kris M one evening to listen to what they had already been working on in the rehearsal studio. Kris liked it so much that he went home that night and gathered up the drum kit that he had at his house and took the kit up to the studio. Kris M played drums with the Steve’s for about 3 months until we came across Daryle S, who had much more experience (25+ years) at playing. Since there was no bass guitarist at the time, Kris M decided to take up playing bass guitar (considering Kris has been playing rhythm guitar since '91, it was natural for Kris to jump in on bass). We have now added Robert Hampton on lead guitar with his many years of experience (30+ Years) in the music industry to replace Steve D. He has really filled out our sound.
